On the evening of December 14, the 23rd “Cradle Cup” Creative Competition Defense Meeting was successfully held in classroom 313, Economic Management Building. This competition aims to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for innovation, find creative inspiration in their study and life, perfect their ideas through teamwork, and finally bring their creative works to the competition. From creativity to practice, their works show the innovation of the younger generation. Wang Chen, teacher of Engineering Management and Technology Economy Department, Dong Niannian, teacher of Business Management Department, Hu Xiujun, counselor of undergraduate students 2019 in School of Computer and Communication and counselor of innovation and entrepreneurship, and Ge yuyang, counselor of undergraduate students 2019 in SEM and Innovation and Entrepreneurship counselor attended the defense meeting.
After the preliminary examination, 21 teams entered the defense session and each of them had five minutes to present. They answered questions from the judges and received suggestions at the end of the defense.
The 21 teams presented their creative projects in terms of background, characteristics and feasibility and analyzed the projects through text description, video and picture display and data analysis. Being attentive to the details, they combined inspirations from study and daily life with the actual situation to perfect their creation. Their presentations showed the creativity and unique ideas of each team.
During the defense, the judges showed great interest in each team’s creative project and gave constructive suggestions for them, which will guide them to implement the project in the future. Finally, the judges scored each team according to four parameters, namely innovation, applicability, realizability and technical solutions, and encouraged each team to continue to improve the project and turn their ideas into reality.
The 23rd “Cradle Cup” Creative Competition Defense Meeting was a success. The 21 teams showed their unique perspectives and innovative thinking. We are looking forward to their participation in various innovation and entrepreneurship competitions to show their youthful vigor.
